Background
Laurie Mason Schroeder is an award winning journalist and author. In 1996, as an unwed working mother with she won her first professional job as a news reporter with her hometown newspaper, the Bucks County Courier Times in Levittown, Pennsylvania. In 2014, she began employment as a senior news journalist with The Morning Call in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She is the author of two critically acclaimed novels: "She Sleeps with Butterflies" and "A Killing in the Woods". She won the prestigious "William A. Schnader Print Media Award" from the Pennsylania Bar Association.
